Baltic Sea in My Eyes - international photographic competition
BalticSeaNow.info -portal is pleased to announce the Baltic Sea in My Eyes - international photographic competition. The competition starts at 1.4.2011 and photographers have until 30.11.2011 to submit one to four original photographs that in their view reflect the Baltic Sea.
Due to the vast amount of entrants, a jury will preselect 100 photos out of all entrants which will be presented in the BalticSeaNow.info -portal at www.balticseanow.info. A jury will award 5 photos and the public is invited to vote for their favourites between 15.12.2011-30.1.2012. The winners of both Jury’s Choice and Public’s Favourites will be announced 6.2.2012.
The winners and a selected few entries will be exhibited at an international circulating exhibition in Summer 2012.

2nd prize Petzl Tikka XP2 and Helcom’s Atlas of the Baltic Sea
3rd-5th Helcom’s Atlas of the Baltic Sea
Jury’s choices
1st prize Nikon Monarch 8X36 DCF binoculars
2nd prize Petzl Tikka XP2 and Helcom’s Atlas of the Baltic Sea
3rd-5th Helcom’s Atlas of the Baltic Sea
The competition is open to photographers, who are residents of Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Sweden.

There seems to be some problems with the gallery element. The voting starts as soon as the problem is fixed.
voting starts 15.12. We had to postpone the voting because large number of photos (over 700!) and also change the rules so that jury will choose 100 photos for the audience to vote.
